Zula Mae Adams is the daughter of Jasper William Adams and Lizzie Jane Burleson Adams. During her childhood her family travel all over Texas in a covered Wagon. She survived the great flood of Belton in 1913. Zula and her sister Bessie were caught up in a current and almost to the point of being swept away when their older brother Ben was able to pull them out endangering his own life, but all survived. The Adams family was a very close family their whole life. Only death separated them. Then the afterlife brought the back together. She is buried next to her younger sister Alma Adams.
