Cletus E. Teel, age 85, of 5634 Maywood St., Hammond, passed away Wed., March 27 at his home. Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Eula (Teel) Swift of Hammond; one son, Harold L. (Selma) of Evanston, Ill., eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2:00 p.m. from the Burns Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond, with the Rev. Ann Gross officiating. Entombment Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, Ill. Friends are invited to call Thursday evening 7 to 10 p.m. Mr. Teel was a retired employee of Lever Brothers and a charter member of the Lever Brothers Retirement Club.
