Mildred C. Ammerman Beckett, age 82, a resident of Route 2, Butler, Kentucky, died Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at Saint Luke Hospital East, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home. She was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky, on August 12, 1911, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Cora Moore Case, and was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Roscoe Ammerman and Archie Ammerman; a daughter, Wilma Best; and a son, Harvey Ammerman. Survivors include: her husband, James C. Beckett; two daughters, Lois Morrison, of Cynthiana, and Carol Gosney, of Falmouth; two step-daughters, Mary Ruth Kern and Betty Weingandt, both of Portland, Oregon; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernest Case, of Cynthiana.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 28, at Falmouth Baptist Church by Rev. George Naylor and Rev. Dan Reynolds. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, in Falmouth. Memorials may be made to Falmouth Baptist Church Youth Fund. Pallbearers were: grandsons and a nephew, Gary Morrison, Ken Morrison, Kevin Morrison, Dean Ammerman, Robbie Best and Russell Case. Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, was in charge of arrangements.
