ARTHUR GRABILL
Arthur Grabill was a Boer War Veteran who homesteaded on the N.W. 19-35-24 in the Glynfield district. He brought his wife and small child from South Africa. His wife had been a schoolteacher over there, and found pioneer life here very hard. She died in 1913, leaving a daughter Winsome. After his wife's death, Mr. Grabill left the farm and returned to Eastern Canada, where his daughter still lives. Thomas Brierey bought the land whch adjoined his homestead, and his now owned by Ron Grisdale, Jr.
