COVEY, John-Mr. John COVEY, age 82 years, died at the home of his son, J.H. COVEY, living near Maysville, Thurs. of last week, "Uncle" John, as he was usually called, was well known all over the country and was held in high esteem by his entire acquaintance, having lived in the neighborhood for something over 40yrs and could relate many interesting occurrences of the early settlement of this country. The funeral services were held at Bethel and conducted by Rev.
Milton JONES in the presence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The deceased leaves to mourn his untimely demise several children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We extend condolence to the relatives.
Mr. J.D.COVEY and wife of Bentonville attended the funeral of his father at Bethel Cemetery Friday Last.
