Claxton - Lela Mae Moore Marks, 86, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Tattnall County native lived most of her life in Evans County where she retired from Claxton Manufacturing Company and she was a member of Hagan Baptist Church. Survivors: sister, Mrs. Eunice Adams of Claxton; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: will be held Saturday, October 4, 2003, 6:00 p.m. until at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home in Claxton. Funeral Service: will be held Sunday, October 5, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ernest Gordy, Rev. Grady Collins, officiating. Burial: Brewton Cemetery. J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home
