"Martin Tschudi, 2nd, baptized 7-31-1735 in Frenkendorf, Canton Basel, Switz. He married in 1754 to Anna Boni, born in 1736 in Canton Basel, Switz. They were emigrants together with 5 children, his mother, Elsbeth Tschudi and other kinsmen, at the Port of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 10, 1767 on Sailing Ship "Sally." The youngest son, Jakob (Jacob) was born en route on the Atlantic Ocean, Sept. 28, 1767 and was in his mother's arms when they left the ship. Kinsmen who wer emigrants include: Niclaus Schydy (Tschudi), Jr. (who was aboard ship without Swiss permission), Han Michael Boni, Simon Boni, (brothers of Anna Boni Tschudi) and perhaps others. Jakob Tschudi born en route is the great grandfather of the author of this book. In 1803 Martin's family settled in Beaver Creek Township, Greene County, Ohio. He was a cooper, a maker of wine barrels and kegs." (History and Genealogy of the Judy - Judah - Tschudy ... Family of America and Switzerland, by Marion P. Carlock, 1954, pages 94-95, 97, 106.)

It is probable Martin was buried at the Beaver Creek Cemetery, but this has not been proven.
