Mrs. Mary Rohrer, 80 years old, died at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at her home near Yellow Creek, after an illness of 3 days with pneumonia. Mrs. Rohrer was born in Lancaster county, Penn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Martin, and came to Elkhart county when but a child. For the past 42 years she had lived on the farm where she died. She was a member of the Evangelical church.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, friends and relatives meeting at the home at 1 o'clock and at 1:30 o'clock at the Yellow Creek Mennonite church. Rev. Calvin Huffman and Rev. David Yoder will officiate and interment will be made in the Harrison Center cemetery.
