MRS. JESSIE E. HALE
TYRINGHAM--Mrs. Jessie E. (Hathaway) Hale, 88, of Sunset Farm died at her home Friday morning. A native of Dalton, she came here as a teacher for South Center School and since her marriage had been active in farm management. She was a member of Union Church and was secretary of the Hop Brook Club and a member of Lee Grange for 60 years. She also was a member of the state and national granges. She leaves two sons, Arnold and Willis of this town; a sister, Miss Jennie T. Hathaway of Pittsfield; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 in Union Church with Rev. Franklyn L. Couch (sic) of Union Church officiating. Visiting hours at her late home are at the convenience of friends. The Kelly funeral home of Lee is in charge of arrangements.
