In 1958, in Los Angeles, California, he formed the group with Phil Spector, Annette Kleinbard, and Harvey Goldstein. By December 25 of that year the group had sold over a million copies of there album, "Teddy Bears Sing." They recorded only a couple of songs including "Don't Worry My Pet" and "To Know Him Is To Love Him." The group broke up in 1960, and Lieb later became a touring member with the group, The Hollywood Argyle. They worked with many talented people, including Duane Eddey.
