JOHN GODDARD, 83, DIES AT HIS HOME IN JACKSONVILLE
John Goddard, 83, life-long Randolph County resident, died this morning at 6:30 o'clock at his home in Jacksonville. Through he had been in failing health the past year, his death this morning was unexpected, as he had apparently felt as well as usual the past few weeks.

Mr. Goddard is survived by his widow and two sons, Sebree of Jacksonville and Frank of Moberly. His first wife and the mother of his children was Miss Mary Terrill, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Terrill, and the second Mrs. Goddard, who survives him, was Miss Minnie Wright. The first Mrs. Goddard died in 1904 and he was married in 1913 to Miss Wright. A third child by the first marriage, George Goddard, is dead.

Funeral Services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the resident by the Rev. W. T. Henson of Moberly. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
