Frank H. Rodgers, 80, of Jackson Center in Mercer County died Monday of natural causes.
Born Sept. 30, 1924, he was the son of Ernest and Aida Claypoole Rodgers.
He married Gladys Graff on Aug. 17, 1946, and they owned and operated the Isaly's dairy store in Sandy Lake for 25 years. He retired in 1988.
Mr. Rodgers was a member of the Lakeview United Methodist Church.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and a son, Mrs. Arnold (Kay) Baker and Raymond F. Rodgers, both of Jackson Center; two sisters, Annabell Crissman of Greenville and Bernice Rosile of Butler; and three brothers, Miles Rodgers of Chicora, Robert Rodgers of Butler and Grant Rodgers of Saxonburg. Three grandchildren also survive.
A son, a sister and a brother preceded him in death.
RODGERS - Friends of Frank H. Rodgers, who died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at ALEXANDER-McMULLEN FUNERAL HOME, 3236 S. Main St., Sandy Lake. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Young, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates Cemetery, Mount Chestnut.
