Teresa Ann "Terry" Stratton, 60, of Madrid, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011, at the Madrid Home in Madrid.
Terry was born April 18, 1951, in Des Moines, to Paul and Alyce (Riekena) Stratton. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1969 and worked for Qwest Communications in Omaha for 35 years. She was a member of the Maxwell United Methodist Church and the CWA Union. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her father, Paul Stratton, of Madrid; her brother, Alan (Barb) Stratton, of Maxwell; her niece, Audrey (Craig) Beal, of Nevada; her nephew, Carl (Amanda) Stratton, of Des Moines; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
She has been cremated, and a visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Memorial services will be at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Woodland Cemetery in Iowa Center
