Emma Moore, 73, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Waco. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Wortham Cemetery in Wortham, Texas. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco.

Emma was born in Wortham, Texas, to the late Eugene and Mable Richardson. She graduated Wortham High School in 1956 and married Dan Moore on Oct. 12, 1956. After working for the first few years in the family business, Wortham Air Conditioning, Inc., Emma proudly "retired" home to raise her family. She volunteered and taught Sunday School for over 25 years as a member of First Baptist Church in Wortham. Emma is fondly remembered by eight grandchildren as "Granny Em" and was widely known for her gift of hospitality and love of the Lord, family, and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dan; sons, Mark Moore and wife, Kathy, of Waco, and Todd Moore and wife, Kelly, also of Waco; grandchildren, Dan'a, Leland, Garrett, Austin, Gracie, Rachel, Devion and Traynham Moore; many other family members; and a host of friends.
