Miss Dessie M. Hall

Miss Dessie M. Hall, 77 of 2505 Lincoln Way E., died Wednesday at 1:35 p.m. in the Massillon City Hospital following an illness of 5 months.
Miss Hall, a retired Massillon Public School Teacher, came to Massillon in 1917 from Belmont County. She taught the first and second grades at Emerson Scholl for 25 years. When she retired several years ago she had been teaching for 38 years.
Miss Hall was a native of Guernsey County, a member of the First Methodist Church of Massillon, The Class in the Corner Sunday School Class and The Naomi Circle.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Clara B. Hall at home and a brother, Boyd Hall of Freeport, Ohio.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Gordon -Shaidnagle - Hollinger Funeral Home with the Rev. William C. Snowball, Pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Smyrna, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
