FROM THE COLLECTION OF DORA NORTH: Retired Teacher Frances Hunt (1987) Frances V. Higginbotham Hunt, 90, of Bryceville died January 13 at her residence. The native and life-resident of Nassau County was a homemaker and member of the Brandy Branch Baptist Church since the age of 13. Mrs. Hunt taught school and was the widow of the late Chester A. Hunt, Sr.Survivors include a daughter, Helen Murray of Bryceville; a son, Chester A. Hunt, Jr. (C.A.) of Baldwin; three sisters, Julia Stokes of Bryceville, Millie Mobley of Gainesville and Annie Ellenburg of Bryceville; three brothers, Forest Higginbotham of Dinsmore, Walstein Higginbotham of Jacksonville and Le Roy Higginbotham of Bryceville; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 15 at 2 pm in the Brandy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Lee, pastor, officiating. Assisting was former pastor Rev. Ralph Eddins. Interment was in the family plot in Brandy Branch Cemetery, north of Baldwin. Casket bearers were grandsons: Tommy Green, Johnny Green, Jimmy Hunt, Keith Whittey, Al hunt, Craig Hunt, Keith Hunt, Stanley Hunt and Chet Hunt. Fraser Funeral Home of MacClenny was in charge of
