Mrs. Leonard was born in Vance County, daughter of the late Ester Ayscue Dickerson and Oscar Dickerson, and later married Douglas Nelson Leonard, who preceded her in death. She was retired from Corning Glass where she was an inspector.
Surviving: her sons, Steve C. (Mary) of Raleigh and Tim (Vicki) Leonard of Winston-Salem; brother, Thomas (Phyllis) Dickerson of Franklinton; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
