Finette, daughter of Alfred and Almira Newlin, and wife of William Dehaven, died at home 3 miles southwest of Newport, IN, July 26, 1894, age 36 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She as married to William Dehaven July 6, 1884; to this union were born 3 children - one boy and 2 girls.
The subject of this notice had been greatly afflicted for a year or more, and bore it patiently without a murmur or complaint of her lot. She was a true companion and a loving mother.
After bidding her family farewell, she apparently became unconscious of their surroundings and quietly passed into the land of the saints, leaving behind her husband and 3 children, a father, a mother, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
The funeral was held the day following at the home of the deceased. After which her lifeless form was conducted to the Thomas Cemetery.
