Goldie M. Gaines Rites In Kansas

Goldie Mae Gaines, 67, a native of Agra, Kans., and a resident of Santa Cruz for the last two months, died Saturday in the home of a sister, Mrs. A. L. Wilson, at 660 34th avenue. She had planned to spend the winter with her sister. She had been ill about two weeks.

She also is survived by two sons, Max Gaines of Speed, Kans., and Duane Gaines, of Alma, Nebr.; two brothers, E. L. Beedy of Genoa, Colo., and Roy Beedy of Portland, Ore.; and four other sisters, Mrs. Avis Greenstreet and Mrs. Margaret Blakeney, both of Santa Cruz; Mrs. Elmer Snow of Sandy, Ore., and Mrs. Lola Chandler of Palm Springs; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Christian church of Agra, Kans.

The remains will be sent to the Miles mortuary in Phillipsburg, Kans., by the Bissell mortuary.
