Mary Ann Henderson married Isaac Edmund Mitchell on February 10, 1848, in Morgan County, Indiana, and the couple then traveled to California by wagon train with her parents, Ebenezer and Cynthia (Connell) Henderson, arriving in 1853. Her last verified place of residence was Lake County (although several adult children were in Mendocino County in the mid-1880s and later and it is likely that she lived with one of them after Isaac's death). The date of death given here is from the handwritten records of her grandniece. It has not been confirmed whether she was buried with her husband in Lake County although that seems likely.
