Frances L. Martin, 63, of 1155 Lehman Road, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born April 6, 1939, in Roxbury, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Reba H. Booth Daihl.

She was employed as a sales associate for 20 years by The Bon Ton at the Chambersburg Mall.

She attended Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, William I. Martin Sr.; two daughters, Cindy L. Conner of Chambersburg and Sheryl D. Shannon of Erie, Pa.; a son, William I. Martin Jr. of Chambersburg; three sisters, Dorothy J. Hammer of Port Royal, Pa., and Lucille McGee and Delores V. Parson, both of Shippensburg; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Services were Monday at 10 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg. The Rev. James O. Bolich officiated. Burial was in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.

Visitation was Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
