Elzora Edwards
KNOX CITY, Mo. --- Funeral services for Mrs. Elzora G. Edwards, 84, of Knox City who died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 21, 1976) in the home of a son in Knox City, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Millport Christian Church. Dr. Dale Jorgenson will officiate with burial in Millport Cemetery northeast of Edina.
Mrs. Edwards was born Jan. 29, 1892, in Knox County, a daughter of Herman Frederick and Mary Eliza Hauger Galbrecht.
She married Enos Grant Edwards on Dec. 24, 1909. He died Aug. 28, 1948.
Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong resident of Knox City and was a member of the Millport Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Harley Glennon Edwards and Elvin Ray Edwards of Knox City and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, seven sisters and six brothers.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina.
