Note: I attended Addie's funeral sometime in the mid-1950's. The church was a small white wood cladd building. I remember how hard the rain poured at some point. During the service the rain subsided, but there was some thunder. The choir sang "When the Roll is Called up Wonder." Following the service she was buried in the church cemetery, and the sky was clear and blue - it was so beautifully blue.
