She attended schools in Burton, Archer, and Madison. She later worked as a CNA in Idaho Falls. On March 21, 1998, she married Terry Lynn Brunson in Rose, Idaho. She was a mother, a homemaker, and had worked as a waitress and at Farr Candy Co.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a Nursery teacher, Primary teacher, and as a Visiting Teacher. She enjoyed collecting ceramic and stuffed bears, embroidering, taking care of children, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
