Mrs. Della Marie Geist, 77, of 325 Federal St., died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, at Butler County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Marwood, Winfield Township, Jan 4, 1894, she was the daughter of Ernest and Carrie Marhoff Voland.
She was a member of St. Mark`s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two sons, Millard C. Geist of Jackson, Ky.; and Robert W. Geist of Heath, Ohio; two daugthers, Mrs. Arvil R. (Arlene) Frye of Butler and Miss Dorothy May Geist, at home; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Walter Voland of Cabot, Edwin Leroy and Melvin, all of Butler, and a sister, Mrs. Alberta Geist of Butler. A brother Willis, died in 1965.
GEIST--Friends of Mrs. Della Marie Geist of 325 Federal St., who died Monday, January 25, 1971, will be received at Thompson Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home with the Rev. John W. Ayer, pastor of St. Mark`s Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Thompson.
