ROCKDALE — Services for Thomas W. "Tommy" Kyle, 74, of Rockdale and Forest Grove will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Grove Christian Church with military honors.
Mr. Kyle died Wednesday, May 18, at his home.
He was born on June 21, 1936, to Willie Watson "Bill" and Clarice M. Jinks Kyle in Dallas County. He retired from the military after serving 22 years. He was a U.S. Navy and Army veteran who served in the Special Forces as a Green Beret medic. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was still active as a rancher. He was a member of the Rockdale VFW Post 6525.
Survivors include a sister, Amanda Burleson of Fairfield.
