Homer, Ill., June 19.—( Special to The Courier-Herald)—The remains of Cyrus S. Richards, pioneer Champaign county resident, who died Thursday night at Delphi, Ind., after a long illness from dropsy, will arrive here this evening at 5:30 o'clock, and will be conveyed directly to G. A. R. cemetery, where interment will take place.
Born Near Ogden.
Mr. Richards was born near Ogden 66 years ago, and had lived in the vicinity of Ogden and Homer until nine years ago, when he went to Delphi, to make his home. He was married twice, his first wife dying six years ago. Two years later he contracted the other marriage, and is survived by his second wife and seven sons.
Services at the grave will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Hyde, pastor of the Christian church.
