Carol D. "Nana Lou" Sweat, 88, of Spring Hill, FL passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Heritage Park Care Center in Dade City, FL. She moved to Florida in the late 1970s from her native Rochester, NY. She retired after 15 years of service from the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital as a medical records clerk. She enjoyed baking, arts and crafts and was an animal lover. She was a past member of Dayspring Presbyterian Church in Spring Hill.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Donovan and her second husband, Elliot Sweat.
Survivors include one son, Gary Donovan (Lynda) of Rochester; one daughter, Judith Gerhart (Charles) of Spring Hill; one stepson, James Sweat (Theresa) of St. Petersburg, FL; two stepdaughters, Janice Sweat of Ft. Lee, NJ, Joyce Romero (Darren) of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Shirley Hochstein of Sun City, AR, Janet Lincoln of Rochester, NY; one brother, Norman Ward (Carolyn) of Cottonwood, AZ; four grandchildren, three great grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
