Agnes became known as Sr. M. Cointha and served as a Music Teacher during her 68 year career as a CSC sister. She taught at 16 schools across the country, and was assigned to St. Peter and Paul School in her hometown of Chatsworth, IL from 1925-1927.
Note - The CSC records indicate her birthdate was January 31,1853, however her hometown church (St. Nicholas)'s baptismal records note her birthdate as January 29, 1853. Additionally, the church's sesquicentennial book lists her name as St. M. Corintha.

Sister Mary Cointha CSC, 92, died in St. Mary's infirmary early this morning. As Agnes Aaron, she was born Jan. 31, 1853 in Corsica, Pa. She was a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross at St. Mary's for 68 years.
Funeral services will be in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary's Thursday morning. Burial will ber in the community cemetery on the campus.
