Robert Dalton Allen "Bob"

Robert Allen, 70, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at his home in Woods Cross, Utah.

He was born June 27, 1939 in Ogden, Utah the son of Manford and Vera Dalton Allen. Married Shirley K. Thurgood, later divorced. Married Joan Casper in 1983 and she passed away in 2002.

Bob graduated from Weber High School and worked as a dispatcher for UPRR. He later worked in maintenance for Westminster College. He loved bowling, pug dogs, fishing, and camping, hunting and collecting clocks.

He is survived by his sister Bonnie Rae Barnes, son Lonnie (Danielle) Allen, daughter Barbara Kay Stevens, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son David, brother Buddy, half sister Nanette McCarthy and a great grandson Alexander Dalton.

Graveside services were held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W.
