A. F. Hall died after long illness
Albert Freeman Hall passed away at Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Saturday, May 23, 1962 after an extended illness.
He was the son of John Ausbury Hall and Emma Jane (Brewer) Hall, born near Columbus Junction, Iowa on March 23, 1880.
As a young man he was converted and joined the Spring Run Evangelical Church and held many offices in the church though the years. He remained a faithful member of that church until his death. He lived and farmed in the Spring Run community, with the exception of one year spent in Greely, Colorado, until 1939 when he moved to Winfild to make his home.
He married October 11, 1905 to Letita Myrtle Homes who passed away April 14, 1913.
On Januray 15, 1919 he was united in mariage to Maude Elsie Bridges who survives. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister; J.O. Hall of Mt. Pleasant, F. W. Hall of Columbus Jnction, L.B. Hall and Mrs. Henry Ostermeier both of Winfield several nieces and nephews, and cousins. His parents and one brother R. J. Hall preceeeded him in death.
Funeral services were held at the Spring Run, E.U.B. Church on May 26, 1962 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Herbert Dymale officiating. Burial was in Colubus City Cemetery.
