Agnes Christine May, 83, of Monette died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Biggers, she was a homemaker and member of Brush Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne May of Manila and Franklin May Jr. of Poyen; two daughters, Mary Johnson and Nadine Davis, both of Osceola; a brother, Leamon Gould of Lepanto; two sisters, Beulah Martin of Stuttgart and Betty Dixon of Lepanto; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin May; a son, Herman May; a daughter, Arlene May; three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with Steven D. Franklin officiating. Burial followed in Manila Cemetery. The Town Crier
