Sarepta Man Dies Last Week; Buried Hopewell
Last rites for Henry G. Hellums, 75, of Sarepta, were held at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church Thursday, April 1. Burial was in the Hopewell cemetery.
A native of Mississippi, Mr. Hellum was born March 20, 1890. He died Mar 31.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillie Hellums and eight children. His sons are Dwight Hellums, Walter Hellums, and D. R. Hellums, all of Bruce; and James Hellums of Oxford, His four daughters are MRs. Gertha Hornsby of Dequeen, Ark.; Mrs. Vera Jenkins of Bruce , Mrs. Daisy Harris and Mrs. Winnie Sykes, both of Senatobia.
Mr. Hellums also leaves one sister, Mrs. Ruth Puckett of Warren, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
