Mrs. Andy Barabas
Mrs. Mary barabas, 65, of 3266 Livingston Ave., Lorain, died yesterday at 8:45 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain, after a long illness.
Mrs. Barabas was born in Hungary and after coming to the United STates in 1912 had lived in Lorain since 1921. She was a member of St. Ladislaus Church, Lorain, the Virgin Mary Society and St. Ann's Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Andy to whome she was married 49 years, a son, Andrew of Bay Village, two sisters, Helen Makowski of Toledo and Betty Szabo of Dearborn, Michi. and a brother, Louis Santo of Toledo.
Friends will be received at the Reidy-Scanlan Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral serviced Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home will be followed by a requiem mass at 9 a.m. at St. Ladislaus Church, Lorain. The Rev. Alex Demetzky will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
