Fern was born on October 15th, 1903, in Bunkerville Nevada.She was a daughter of Edward Isaiah and Mary Emily Bunker Cox. On February 15, 1941, Fern married Nephi L. Anderson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceeded her in death on July 8th,1983. Fern was a charter member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority. She taught school in the Salt Lake City School District for 38 years, never missing one day of school. Her survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Ruth Barnett, and two sons; Robert N. Anderson of San Diego, and David C. Anderson of Salt Lake City. Nine grandchildren also survived her at the time of her death. She was a very loving and giving person and will be forever missed by her family members and friends.
