Services for Allen Crosby, 49, of 1605 12th Ave,. Moline will be 10:30 a.m.,
Monday at Community Christian Church, Moline, with the Rev. Tommy Shoulders
officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery,
Walterboro, S.C.
Crosby died Thursday evening at University Hospital, Iowa City.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline.
Memorials may be made to Community Christian Church.
Allen Crosby was born March 11, 1933 in Charleston S.C.
He married Marion Eden, June 13, 1964 in Charleston.
He was employed by DARCOM Installation Services Activity, Rock Island Arsenal,
as a facility management officer. He worked for the federal government for 28
years.
He was a member of Community Christian Church, Masonic Lodge 375 A.F.M. in
Charleston and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict and Berlin Crisis.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Debbie; and a son, Jerome, both at home; a
brother, Jack Crosby, Memphis, Tenn., and two sisters, Barbara Hooper, Bisbee
Ariz. and Carol Piper, Indianapolis, Ind.
