Ballston Spa—Betty [Bette] Minerley, wife of Ralph Minerley of Fairground Avene, died Tuesday [27 Jan] after a long illness. She was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Ballston Spa. she was gradated from the Ballston Spa High School and craned as nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital, Amsterdam. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband; her mother Mrs. Nellie Morey; her grandfather, James Hayward; three uncles, Wilbur, Harry and Robert Hayward, all of Ballston Spa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Wheeler Funeral Home. Rev. John B. Freestone, Baptist pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in the Ballston Spa Cemetery.

The Rev. John B. Freestone, Baptist Church pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Ballston Spa Cemetery.
Survivors besides those mentioned in the obituary are her father. C. Ralph Sheffer, Ballston Spa; her grandmother, Mrs. L. E. Sheffer, Mechanicville, and an uncle. L. E. Sheffer, Florida.
The funeral home will be open tonight.
