"The funeral of Reverend Frederick Harvey, who passed away last Friday evening was held this afternoon at two o'clock at the Spoor Funeral Parlors on Milton Avenue. Rev. Harry J. Swan, pastor of the Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the Ballston Spa Village Cemetery."
Frederick Harvey was born September 12, 1848 in Ipswitch, (Suffolk) England.
In 1873 Frederick married Mary Ann Alice Lee in Coddenham (Suffolk) England.
On August 24, 1874 their first son, Archibald Lee Harvey was born in Great Ellingham (Norfolk) England.
On May 26, 1884 their second son, Athelstan George was born in Great Ellingham, England.
On August 19, 1890 their third son, Clifford Watcham Harvey was born.
In 1892 the Harvey family emigrated to the United States from England.
They appear on the 1900 census in Lansing, Michigan.
By 1909 their son Athelstan and likely his brothers Archibald and Clifford as well as their Mother had moved to Vancouver. Mary Ann, Archibald and Athelstan died in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Clifford Watcham Harvey, the youngest son died in Tucson, Arizona United States of America.
In 1927 Frederick bought land in Milton, New York. He had lived there prior to purchasing the land.
In 1936 Frederick died alone when his house burned to the ground.
Frederick Harvey was a retired Presbyterian minister.
