Ballston Spa - John Howard Chamberlain, 62, of R.D. 1, Goode St., Ballston Spa, died from an apparent heart attack at the wheel of his car while traveling east on Route 67 just east of the Sweetman Road about 8:45 o'clock last night. Chamberlain was pronounced dead at the scene.

Born in Glenville, Apr. 18, 1897. Mr. Chamberlain was a retired General Electric inspector, and a member of the Quarter Century Club of G. E.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Chamberlain, Schenectady; 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Roy Stillman, Schenectady, and Mrs. Marjorie Schaub, Ga.; 2 stepsons, Earl Castle and Carl Castle, Ballston Spa; a brother, Russell Chamberlain, Ballston Spa; 2 sisters, Mrs. Estheer Tatlock, Amsterdam and Mrs. Edith Merser, Washington, D.C., sever nieces and nephews. Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoon.
