Albert Phillips Blood, one of the oldest and most esteemed residents of Ballston Spa, died Tuesday [5 Apr] night, aged 76 years, at his home on Milton Avenue. He had resided in Ballston Spa his whole life. He was the third son the late Sylvester and Loretta Robertson Blood, who were among the pioneer residents of Ballston Spa.
In politics Mr. Blood was a stanch Democrat. He was among the successful merchants of Ballston Spa and for thirty years was the proprietor of large millinery store. He retired from active business about 20 years ago. Mr. Blood was well know in Masonic Circles, being a member of Franklin Lodge F. and A.M. of that village and Washington Commandery No. 33, Knight Templars, of Saratoga Springs.
