James Edward "PeeWee" Bryant, 66, died June 4, 2011. He was born on Mother's Day, May 13, 1945, in Oklahoma City to Erma F. and W.O. "Dick" Bryant.

He attended Newcastle schools and graduated from Newcastle High School in 1963. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and met his wife, Donna, while stationed in Germany. They were married on Feb. 11, 1967. Jim was a truck driver by profession and recently retired from FER Trucking. Jim enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, farming, and fishing.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bud and Johnny.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; son Algis of Blanchard OK; daughter Debbie and her husband Todd of Blanchard; grandchildren Cole and Cody Lemons; sisters Willa Faye "Shorty" Clay, Jane White, and Margaret "Margie" Brown and husband Mickey, all of Newcastle, and Jeannie Stone and her husband Terry of Houston TX.
