Nampa – Services for Alma Marie Cronrath, 84, of 2609 Sunnybrook Drive, Nampa,
who died Monday in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at
Fairview Church of the Nazarene, Nampa, by the Rev. Orville Halley. Entombment
will follow in the Building of the Reverence in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens,
under the direction of Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.

She was born 1 Aug 1895 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. At an early age she moved with
her family to Ritzville, Wash., where she was reared and educated. She graduated
from Normal School in Cheney, Wash., then taught school for two years in
Roxboro, Wash. She married Albert Cronrath on Nov 8, 1919 in Kenosha. They
farmed in the Ritzville area until 1948, when they moved to Nampa. She was a
member of the Fairview Church of the Nazarene, Nampa.

Surviving are her husband of Nampa; two sons, Edwin A. of Nampa and Melvin A. of
Harrington, Wash; two daughters, Marian Pouley of Ind. Wash., and Joyce Ax of
Nampa; a brother, Arthur Buhl of Ritzville; 19 grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
