Linda Lou Lambard Shandy

Our beloved Linda has returned to the arms of our Heavenly Father after a battle with cancer. Linda was born Nov. 21, 1956, in Richland, Wash., the first daughter and second child of Lewis Alvin and Arlene (Hellyer) Lambard. She attended schools in Richland and graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in Pennsville, N.J., in 1975. She also graduated from Salem (New Jersey) Community College with a degree in communications.
Linda loved life and made many friends along her journey. She was always generous with her time and her money. She spent many years as a reading tutor in the Billings School District and was involved with Relay for Life. She worked for KULR-8 television for many years.
Linda loved her family and was fond of her "auntly duties," as we all called them. Her nieces and nephews all adored her. Linda married Tony Shandy on Nov. 30, 1978. They had one son, Nathan Anthony.
Besides her husband and son, she is survived by one brother, Lewis Creede (Sharleen) Lambard of Shoreline, Wash.; two sisters, Nancy Patricia (Jack) Willard of Billings and Caralee Kay (Stephen) Hand of Salt Lake City; all their children and grandchildren; as well as aunts and cousins scattered across the country.
Special thanks to Brenda Meyer, who established a CaringBridge website in Linda's name, which can be accessed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lindashandy/creatorsignin after a simple, free registration.
The casket will be open for visitation on Monday at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary with interment to follow at Mounview Cemetery.
