A lifetime Rockdale resident, Louise Sessions nee Hale was born in Rockdale to the late Robert Lee and Susian Kercheval Hale. She was a retired fourth grade teacher for the Rockdale ISD. She taught for 50 years, having started during the 1921-22 school year. She was a member of the Matinee Music Club. Mrs. Sessions died in the Manor Oaks Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 29, 1952; three brothers, John T. Hale on Nov. 24, 1973, Will Norris Hale on Sept. 17, 1962, and Robert Lee Hale Jr.; a niece, Virginia Hale Garrett on June 17, 1984; and a nephew, John T. Hale Jr. on Nov. 29, 1954.
