Reese Jones , Active in the Grange Organizations, Died This Morning
Ewing, MO, May 21---Reese Jones, one of the most prominent farmers of the community, died this morning about 6 o'clock at his home, Argola, near Ewing. He was 75 years of age, and his death was caused by a cancerous affection of his throat.
Mr Jones was one of the most active workers among the farmers'granges in the state,having helped organize the Mutual Grangers Insurance company, and having served in various capacities in grange organizations.
His wife died two years ago, but he leaves one son, Clyde W Jones, a well known farmer near Ewing, and two daughters, Mrs Fred W Schroter, living in the community and Miss Inez Jones, a school teacher, who was attending her father at the time of his death.
The funeral will take place on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, with interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
