Mrs. Bettie Arrowood, age 85, died last Thursday in San Angelo. Funeral services were at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tommie Crouch of Rising Star and burial was in the Rising Star Cemetery. Mrs. Arrowood lived in Oglesby more than 20 years and was a member of the Methodist Church. She died from a hemorrhage of the brain while suffering from the flu. Survivors: 3 daughters, Mrs. Tommie Crouch, Mrs. Ollie Cooper of San Angelo, Mrs. Tommie Henderson of Memphis, TN; sisters, Mrs. Fannie Brown of Lockney, Mrs. Ronnie Pyleris of Vernon; brothers, J.E. Blount of Memphis, TN, Don Blount and Andrew Blount of Lockney.
