Bret Lee Walters died on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 as result of an automobile accident. Bret was born December 11, 1961 in Okmulgee to Richard Wayne Walter and Ida Mae Brown. He was baptized at a young age at the Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved the rodeo. Bret is survived by his mother Ida Mae Brown and husband Ray of Tulsa, father Richard Wayne Walters and wife Lois of Morris, brother Ronald Walters of Bixby, sister Traci Ladner and husband Mike of Tulsa. He was the proud uncle of Aubri Wolfe, Cody Ladner, Siera Wolfe, Tyler Ladner, Mary Beth Walters, Mathew Walters, Bekah Walters, Emily Walters, Haleigh Lockard, Erica Lockard and Brandon O'neal and great uncle to Eric Lockard, Adlee Hicks, and Laken Walters. A family graveside service was held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Haskell Cemetery with Mr. Michael Shawn Riley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
