Leo "Bud" Wells, 81, of 305 W. Seventh St. died at 2:38 a.m. Friday, April 17, 1992, at St. James Hospital in Pontiac.
He was born Oct. 7, 1910 in Sims to Thomas S. and Leora Davis Wells. One son, six brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren preceded him in death.
He married Bernice Miller on March 10, 1934 in Sims. She survives. He is also survived by five sons, Auburn of Bloomington, Harold of Gridley, Bob and Marvin, both of Washington and Jim of Buckley, Washington; three daughters, Betty Gladish of Walnut, Faye Kirkpatrick of Harvel and Carol Ludwig of Bloomington; one sister, Leota Linder of Sims; 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
