Curtis Bolin age 89 of Dallas formely of Ivanhoe Texas will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Honey Grove. Mr. Preston Boles will officiate the service.
Interment will follow at Lamasco Cemetery. Mr. Bolin passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Pleasant Valley nursing Center in Garland Texas.
Curtis Bolin was born in Ivanhoe Texas on August 26, 1921 to parents Harris and Virge (Morris) Bolin. He married Helen Louise on October 17, 1939 and Bonham, Texas; she preceded him in death on October 29, 1994. Mr. Bolin was a Business Owner of a Farmer's Market and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mr. Bolin is survived by daughters Louise Wilks of Garland Texas, Paulette Travis of Dallas Texas; 11 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his father, mother, and son James.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Freeman, Billy Bob Stephens, Randy Whitten, Michael Whitten, Larry Wolfe, and Cory Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Wilks, Glenn Wilks, and Russell Travis.
Family visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Honey Grove, from 12 PM until the time of service.
