MRS. EUPHEMIA GRAY OF AVON DIED THURSDAY - Mrs. Eupnemia Gray, one of Avon's best loved and most prominent citizens, died Thursday at Buxton at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vetter Williams where she had made her home for the past several months.
Mrs. Gray was the widow of the late Malachi Gray of Avon and is survived by the following children: O.G. Gray, Homer Gray, Fred Gray and Mrs. A.D. Williams of Avon, Mrs. Frazier Miller of Elizabeth City and Mrs. Spencer Wynn of Columbia; and by many grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Avon and interment was in the family cemetery.
